Scotland will enjoy greater powers when we stay secure within the United Kingdom

Bwjh-NpIAAA6emV.jpg-largeThe nationalists will tell you it is all Westminster lies but ask yourself why, with a general election due next May, the mainstream parties would each commit to including the promise  of greater powers for the Scottish Parliament in their manifestos. The electorate will have the luxury of voting for one or the other and Scotland will gain, whatever the outcome of the election. They may even get, in the eyes of the SNP, the added bonus of a Tory-free government in Westminster.

The nationalists will then say that these commitments are not binding; the nasty Westminster politicians will renege on their manifesto promises. True to form Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon, the SNP and all the other nationalists will attack anything and anyone or any ‘NO’ suggestion without any rational thought – we see it day and daily. They are wrong!

Do you really think that with such a close Referendum vote, that any politician will invite the wrath of Scotland, and Wales, and not deliver on devo-max? No chance. Politicians will be falling over themselves to develop a devolved solution that benefits and is fair to everyone.

Scotland will get those extra powers which, with the security and strength of continuing to be a significant part of the UK, will give us  so much more control of our small but powerful nation without the significant economic risks of independence.

And we are likely to get them much more quickly from the new UK government in May 2015, whoever is in power.

You can bet on it!
